Product Recall: Toshiba Tecra and Satellite Laptop Batteries

The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of laptop batteries that shipped with certain models of Toshiba laptops. The batteries, manufactured by Sony, contain defective cells that could overheat and cause fires. The following models are affected (all were sold between January 1, 2006 and April 30, 2006): Satellite A100, Satellite A105, and Tecra A7. For information on how to exchange the batteries, go here.
